This year the RWF is proud to send our teens to work.  A key component of our Girls IntoWomen program is career preparation, and there’s no better way to do that than through valuable work experience.  Thanks to the support and generosity of the Dykema Gossett law firm, four of our teens had the opportunity to put into practice what they’ve been learning in a challenging, fast-paced professional environment.

For six weeks, our teens gained valuable insight into the legal profession.  From daily contact with attorneys, to viewing court proceedings, and meetings with federal and state court judges, the girls learned about many different career paths a law degree can lead to.  It is through collaborations like this with our community partners that we can all make a better tomorrow for our youth.  Many thanks to Dykema!
