An important part of the RWF’s mission is instilling in the Teens a strong sense of connection to the community in which they live.  Taking the time to lend a hand or a kind word to someone going through a rough time can go a long way towards building our own confidence, confidence in others, and a better community.  That’s one reason why each December we pause to celebrate Christmas with those less fortunate than we are by visiting a shelter and providing gifts, laughs, and love.  After all, it is the season for giving.
