The Art of Giving is Frame Your Face’s annual benefit for Detroit-area charities featuring food & spirits, music, live & silent auctions and, of course, a Frame Your Face paint-by-number canvas. Its mission is to help southeast Michigan charities and not-for-profits with an annual fundraiser. Frame Your Face has raised $160,000 since 2005. Past beneficiaries include The Pink Fund, Children’s Village and Lighthouse of Oakland County.
The 4th Annual Art of Giving will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013, from 7-11 p.m. at Scavolini in Birmingham. This year’s event will benefit the Rhonda Walker Foundation; the Foundation’s mission is to empower inner city teen girls toward becoming strong, confident, successful and moral future leaders.
