Biography
Lloyd L. Banks III is president and CEO of his own management consulting firm, LB3 Management. Banks firm specializes in multi-cultural marketing, business development, and relationship building. Banks also holds a 50% share in Concentric Global Initiative (CGI) as managing partner and chief strategist. CGI handles global initiatives in the areas of education, strategic partnerships, and community organizing and outreach.
Banks is an experienced professional with a 17-year track record of strategic corporate business, successfully delivering results in a fast pace, high energy, and complex business environment. Prior to the launch of Banks business ventures, he was responsible for community and civic affairs for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan statewide. For more than 13 years Banks and his team was responsible for advancing Blue Cross growth strategy by building strategic alliances and partnerships with diverse business leaders, community advocates and governmental agencies.
Banks is also dedicated to working in the community, he has led several successful fund development campaigns raising millions of dollars in the span of 10 years. Banks has been the recipient of many professional and civic awards including Who’s Who in Black Detroit 4th Edition and Michigan Chronicle’s Man of the Year. In addition to the Rhonda Walker Foundation, Banks serves on the following boards and hold memberships with:

In addition to his career, Banks is most proud of his faith in God. The eldest of eight children, he credits his close-nit family with much of his success. Besides his mother, he is particularly grateful for his grandfather’s influence, who not only was his pastor, but his spiritual guide.
Banks received a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree. In Banks spare time, he enjoys exercise, reading, playing golf and speaking to young people. And soon Banks will add author to his resume as he completes his first book to be released by the end of 2011. Banks is married to Jennifer Stewart Banks, PhD candidate at Eastern Michigan University, and they reside in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
